Jeannine Del Monte Kowal
Jeannine Del Monte Kowal’s practice areas concentrate on business and commercial litigation, including equipment leasing and creditors’ rights. Ms. Del Monte Kowal received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she participated in the honors program and was on Dean’s List. She earned her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where she competed in moot court and participated in the Legal Assistance for Urban Communities Legal Clinic. Ms. Del Monte Kowal has several years of extensive trial experience resulting in victories on numerous bench trials and jury trials. She also handles significant appellate work for both appellants and respondents. Representative appellate cases in which she has attained successful outcomes include: Cadle Co. II, Inc. v. Cisneros, 2008 WL 2569464 (Cal. App. 4th Dist.); Genesis Commercial Capital, LLC v. Olivier Video Productions, Inc., 2007 WL 3054796 (Cal. App. 4th Dist.); In re Boyajian (2007) 367 B.R. 138; Premier Capital LLC v. Dickens, 2005 WL 2338789 (Cal. App. 4th Dist.); PC Mall, Inc. v. Colonial Pacific Leasing Corp., 2005 WL 1303385 (Cal. App. 2nd Dist.); and Lease Corporation of America v. Ice Specialty Entertainment, Inc., 2003 WL 1307528 (Cal. App. 2nd Dist.). Ms. Del Monte Kowal is also admitted to U.S. District Court of California, Central and Northern Districts, and the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
