Martina A. Porter
Martina A. Porter’s practice involves all types of business and commercial litigation, including an insolvency practice through her representation of secured creditors in chapter 7 and 11 proceedings. Ms. Porter received her undergraduate degree cum laude from the University of San Diego. She earned her law degree cum laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, in San Diego, where she was a member of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review and was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in both contracts and real property. Previously, Ms. Porter spent two years with the California Attorney General’s Office, handling criminal appellate matters, and she also held externships with Justice James McIntyre and Justice Donald Work, both of the California Court of Appeal, Second District. A litigation attorney with more than a decade of experience, Ms. Porter is also admitted to the U.S. District Court of California for the Central, Southern and Eastern Districts. She is fluent in Spanish.
