Matthew E. Voss
Matthew E. Voss concentrates his legal practice on commercial and business litigation, including credit collections for large financial institutions and equipment lessors. Mr. Voss received his undergraduate degree in 1993 from Illinois State University, where he majored in political science. He earned his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1997. During law school Mr. Voss was a member of the Moot Court Honors Program, and he received the Exceptional Achievement Award for the highest grade in the California Defamation and Privacy Law Seminar, as well as the American Jurisprudence Book Award for Legal Research and Writing II. Mr. Voss is the author of “Celebrities and Their Reputations – A Pillage of Priceless Commodities in Constitutionalized Defamation Law” (1997-98 Entertainment, Publishing and the Arts Handbook, 239). Before joining the firm, Mr. Voss had more than twelve years of experience in all aspects of business litigation, including entertainment and employment litigation and creditors’ rights. Mr. Voss is admitted to practice in all California state courts, as well as before the U. S. District Court, for the Central and Southern Districts of Califiornia. He is also fluent in Spanish.
