 Susan K. Breen
Susan K. Breen’s practice areas concentrate on business and commercial litigation, representing financial institutions and national equipment leasing companies. She also handles bankruptcy litigation in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 matters. Ms. Breen conducted her undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona and California State University, Northridge. She earned her law degree from University of La Verne, San Fernando Valley College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. During her law school career, Ms. Breen received numerous honors, including AmJur Awards, West’s Publishing Awards and served as Salutatorian of her class. Ms. Breen also was a contributing editor to the Journal of Juvenile Law. She served as president of the student bar association from 1990-1991 and was an officer of the Delta Theta Phi law fraternity in 1989. Ms. Breen is an active member of the California Bankers Association. She is AV rated (highest attorney rating) by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. She also serves as a judge pro tem for the Los Angeles Superior Court. Ms. Breen is the author of “Is There a Juvenile Right to Die: The Capacity-Intent Dichotomy,” Journal of Juvenile Law (1991). Ms. Breen is also admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, all U.S. District Courts of California, and the U.S. District Court of Colorado.
